OMAHA, Neb. – College of Saint Mary is pleased to announce the signing of Morgan Hensch, who will continue her softball career with the school in the 2025-26 academic year.
Hensch is a Murray, Neb., native and a senior at Conestoga High School. She is the daughter of John and Tracy Hensch.
“We are excited to add Morgan to our team,’’ CSM Coach Carolyn Todd Bray said. “Morgan is a very strong student and will be a great addition to CSM, both academically and athletically.’’
At Conestoga, Hensch has participated in softball for one year, volleyball for three years, wrestling for four years and track for one year. She has been named honorable mention all-conference in softball. In wrestling, she was a team captain for three years with a top finish of fifth in the state.
A pitcher and utility player in softball, Hensch said her greatest sports moment to date was the game where she hit her first home run and also had 10 strikeouts in the circle.
“She comes from a great family and comes highly recommended from the people at Conestoga,’’ Bray said. “We are looking forward to having her play for us next year.’’
Hensch enjoys spending time with friends, working out and watching movies in her spare time. She has no doubt that CSM is the ideal place for the next stage of her life.
“I chose CSM because it felt like a family as soon as I arrived,’’ she said. “I believe the health care programs CSM offers are a great fit for my future. After meeting Coach Bray and the rest of the team, I think this team is the fit for me! I also enjoy the small size and how close it is to home.’’
