CSM Dance Team has 'inspirational' day at Concordia Duals

SEWARD, Neb. – "An inspirational day!"

The College of Saint Mary dance team won one and lost one Saturday at the Concordia University Duals.

The Flames lost the opening round to Mount Mercy University 78.0 to 64.87. But the squad followed that up with a big win over York University 65.23 to 63.73.

"Today was an inspirational day within the team," CSM dancer Carrie Keating said. "We gained 10 points from our last competition during our first dual today and then we beat our opponent during our second dual. I am so proud of everyone's support and commitment to our team today."

Grand View University had the highest dance team total for the day with 176.1 Midland University was second with 171.14 and Baker University finished third with 168.6.

The Flames compete next on Feb. 17 at the Dordt University Invitational.
