OMAHA, Neb. – College of Saint Mary is excited to announce that Ellie Frederick has signed to join the competitive dance team at the school in the 2025-26 academic year.

A Columbus, Neb., native, Frederick is a 2024 graduate of Shelby-Rising City High School. The daughter of Justin Frederick and Kris Federick has spent the current academic year at York University in York, Neb.

"Ellie comes to CSM with a year of competing in NAIA dance and will easily jump into our competitive program,'' CSM Coach April Allen said. "With her studio and team experience, Ellie will help boost our team score in turns and choreography. We are excited to welcome her to the CSM dance family!"

In high school, Frederick competed in cheer and dance for four years, track and field for four years and softball for one year. She was named an All-American by the National Dance Alliance (NDA).

Frederick enjoys running, reading and baking in her spare time. She chose CSM because of its "amazing nursing program, and the opportunity to continue dance.''
