Dunlap signs with CSM for softball
OMAHA, Neb. – The College of Saint Mary softball program is pleased to announce the addition of Adelia Dunlap to its roster for the 2025-26 school year.
The daughter of Aaron and Amy Dunlap is a senior at Wahoo High School and recently signed her letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career with the Flames.
Dunlap becomes a legacy athlete as her mother played tennis at CSM as the former Amy Lawson, graduating in 1998.
"We are excited to add Adelia to our team for next season,'' CSM Coach Carolyn Todd Bray said. "She's a very talented outfielder and provides a strong presence out there. Offensively, I think her speed and power make her tough to defend from the left side, which is something our lineup needs.''
As an outfielder at Wahoo, Dunlap earned Class B honorable mention all-state honors by the Omaha World-Herald and was a first-team All-Area pick by the Lincoln Journal-Star. Her sports hero is Oklahoma softball All-American Tiare Jennings and she enjoys lifting weights, braiding hair and watching Netflix.
Dunlap said CSM felt like the place to be for her.
"CSM was my college choice because the small community made me feel at home,'' she said.
Coach Bray is eager to see what Dunlap can bring to her program.
"She's a great young lady with a humble personality, but has the awards and recognition to back up her play,'' she said. "I'm looking forward to watching her follow in her mom's footsteps at College of Saint Mary, and also having her represent Flames softball.''
