Kadavy signs with CSM soccer program

OMAHA, Neb. – Izzie Kadavy is going to be a Flame next year.

College of Saint Mary is pleased to announce that the David City, Neb., native has signed to continue her education and soccer career with the school in the 2025-26 academic year.

The wing/forward prospect is the daughter of Kasey Kadavy and Christina Shannon. She attends Aquinas Catholic High School but has played soccer at Scotus Catholic High School in Columbus, as Aquinas does not have a soccer program. Kadavy has played soccer for four years, earning second-team all-state honors as a freshman and sophomore.

CSM Coach Jamison Parkhill is pleased with the signing.

"Izzie is a very strong forward who likes to take people on 1v1,'' he said. "She is the type of player we have been looking for as a forward who just works on and off the ball. She can score and assist, and we can't wait to see her in CSM colors in the fall and beyond.''

Kadavy enjoys reading, lifting weights and spending time with family and friends. She selected CSM because she "really liked the campus and soccer team.''
