Flames add Prado to soccer program
OMAHA, Neb. – College of Saint Mary is excited to announce that Citlali Prado has signed to join the school's soccer program in the 2025-26 academic year.
Prado is the daughter of Ramon and Maria Prado, and graduated from Lexington (Neb.) High School in 2023. The attacking midfielder has spent the last two years at Iowa Western Community College, playing on the Reivers' national championship team in the fall of 2023 and their national semifinalists in 2024.
"Citlali is bringing college playing experience from Iowa Western,'' CSM Coach Jamison Parkhill said. "We are very excited to add someone of her caliber to our team. I had the pleasure of recruiting her and coaching her at Iowa Western to a national championship. Citlali will do great things for us, and I'm excited to be able to coach her once again at CSM.''
Prado said her greatest sports moment to date was winning the national championship at Iowa Western. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and listening to music.
Prado said there were two reasons why she chose CSM.
"The legal studies program and Coach Parkhill,'' she said.
