Johnson signs with CSM soccer program
OMAHA, Neb. – College of Saint Mary is excited to welcome Reese Johnson, who has signed to continue her soccer career at the school in the 2025-26 academic year.
Johnson is a 2022 graduate of Louisburg (Kan.) High School and the daughter of Matthew and Tiffany Johnson. She spent two years at Iowa Western Community College, winning two national championships, before playing one year at Life University (Ga.).
CSM Coach Jamison Parkhill said Johnson will be a great addition to the program.
"Reese is bringing a high level of playing experience to CSM,'' he said. "She is a very hard worker who gets up and down the field. Reese is going to help us solidify our back line, and we are super excited that she is joining us for the next few years.''
Johnson will be joined by her sister, Baleigh, who has also committed to CSM.
Reese Johnson said winning the 2022 NJCAA national championship is her greatest sports moment to date. She enjoys running in her spare time, as she also placed sixth, 17th and 19th in the Kansas state cross country meet during her high school years.
Johnson said she chose CSM because of its "coaching, location, family and soccer program.''
