Flames add Castro Torres to soccer program
OMAHA, Neb. – College of Saint Mary is thrilled to announce that Ezzy Castro Torres has signed to continue her soccer career at the school in the 2025-26 academic year.
Castro Torres graduated from Kearney High School in 2023 and has spent the past two seasons playing at Northeast Community College in Norfolk, Neb. She is the daughter of Ana Castro Torres.
CSM Coach Jamison Parkhill said Castro Torres will add plenty to his program as a center back, outside back or striker.
"Ezzy is a versatile player by being able to play in the back line or out wide,'' he said. "We are excited for her to join us this fall. She has played at a very good NJCAA school in Northeast CC under Chad Miller, and I know that she will be able to help us compete and bring our program to a new level.''
Castro Torres said she chose CSM for the location and the environment. Parkhill said she will be a good fit within his team dynamics.
"She will do amazing things in the navy and gold, both on and off the field,'' he said.
