OMAHA, Neb. – College of Saint Mary is excited to announce the signing of Hannah Ferguson, who will join the school's swim program in the 2025-26 academic year.

After being homeschooled, Ferguson attended Metropolitan Community College in Omaha. Next year she will be a sophomore academically and a freshman by athletic eligibility. She is the daughter of Matt and Holly Ferguson of Bennington.

CSM Coach Liz Germonprez said Ferguson has many appealing qualities that will benefit the program.

"I'm thrilled that Hannah has chosen to join Flames swimming in 2025,'' she said. "Hannah brings maturity, experience, versatility and a lot of talent to our team. She's an incredible addition to Flames swimming as an athlete and teammate.''

Ferguson's sports hero is nine-time Olympic gold medalist Katie Ledecky, and her favorite sports moment to date is swimming under five minutes in the 400 individual medley.

Ferguson enjoys reading, crocheting, weightlifting and cooking in her spare time. She chose CSM because of its "awesome nursing program and welcoming campus community.''
