Brown qualifies for swim nationals in 3 events
OMAHA, Neb. – For the second straight season, sophomore Kylee Brown will represent College of Saint Mary in the NAIA Women's Swimming and Diving National Championships, set for March 5 through 8 at the Elkhart Aquatics Center in Elkhart, Ind.
Brown, a graduate of Lewis Central High School in Council Bluffs, has advanced in the same three events as last year, the 100 freestyle, 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle. She has qualified 16th in the 200 free (1:56.01), 17th in the 500 free (5:12.06) and 36th in the 100 free (54.04). She will be in action during the morning sessions on March 6, 7 and 8, attempting to qualify for the evening finals.
CSM is one of 30 schools which will be represented in the national meet. A total of 160 individual swimmers and eight divers have qualified.
